These past few days I’ve been on a cloud and I’ll get right to it…

First off, we played Saturday night at Carrollton Station and it was insanely fun. We played with great friends Andrew Duhon and the Lonesome Crows and Sean Bruce. All of our friends and fans were there and we could not have had more fun in one night. I guess its that Mardi Gras magic in the air!

Then Sunday we got to play for the Official Grammy Viewing Party at the Hard Rock Cafe. The Grammys or should I say “Adele Fest” was really fun and the Viewing Party gets bigger every year, so make sure next year you can be a part of it. Its always a treat.

AND THEN: The icing on that king cake was definitely opening up for the happy, magical band The Polyphonic Spree at The House of Blues! Thanks to these wonderful people for letting us be apart of their show, it was such an honor! We loved hanging with them, they even let us on stage at the end of the night to dance with them for their encore. We really hope we can do it again sometime!

We are so lucky to have such great friends and fans that support what we do and we will never be able to thank them enough. Its weekends like this though, that we try our best to let them know one by one that we appreciate all of it!

South By Southwest – AUSTIN, TX!

We can’t wait, we are ready to pack the escape full of gear and head on down to the big state!

Hello Everyone,

Although the new year is just around the corner, we have one last piece of business to discuss, or perhaps 25 of them.

Recently Orange Moon was listed #3 in Muruch.com’s Top 25 Albums of 2011.  For those out of the know, Muruch was pretty much the internet’s first ever music blog, so we’re very excited for this stocking stuffer.  We beat Tori Amos and Florence & the Machine (whom we adore)! Not sure how that happened, but we humbly accept.  Great exclamation point on this great year!  And so was that.

A great gang of Austin-based folks, Adobe Airstream, did an awesome interview with me.  Felt all warm inside after.  Kinda like after eating Thai food.  Minus the bathroom trip.

Orange Moon Has Got it Going On.

Well, I’m very excited about all of the nice reviews we’ve been getting for Orange Moon. AND speaking of Orange Moon, August 26th at AllWays Lounge we officially release it Nationally, Internationally, and most of all Digitally!!! YAY.

We are very pumped because its been a while since the whole band has played. Well, it hasn’t been that long but still, it’s been at least a month! We will also have the newest band on the scene sharing the stage with us and they already have a million groupies, Michael Mantese and the Strawberries will be opening the show up with there mind blowing tunes!
