Capitals Showed the Design of the First Championship Rings

Last year, the Washington Capitals won their first champion title, beating the Vegas Golden Knights in the final.

Today, the club received the championship rings, which will be presented to the players of the team before tomorrow’s start of the regular season against Boston during the ceremony to raise the champion banner under the vaults of the arena.

The rings are decorated with 14 carat white and yellow gold, and also decorated with 230 diamonds. Also on one of the sides of the ring is the 8th number of Alexander Ovechkin at the Moscow Capitol.

Quarterback Michal Kempney and forward Travis Boyd are on the injured list.

Recall that the regular championship of the NHL starts on the night of October 4, a match between Toronto and Montreal.
